Large diameter core drilling is recommended for bulk sampling and where core of target samples are required.
Layne Christensen is well respected for in bulk sample coring for feasibility analysis and development work.
Conventional Coring We are able to offer coring services with conventional pulled core barrels to provide up to 12-
inch cores. This is particularly effective in targeting specific zones with spot cores. Wireline Coring Where
continuous bulk sample is required over the target area, our 6-inch wireline system has proven, without question, to
be the most accurate and economic sampling tool. Casing Supporting our 6-inch wireline system, our drills can be
equipped with a 10 5/8” diameter downhole hammer system with an eccentric bit for hammering casing into place in
rough overburden.
